Pearson Packaging Buy
Pearson exec Michael A. Senske will lead the combined company.

Packaging equipment manufacturer Pearson Packaging Systems, based in Spokane, Washington, has agreed to acquire industry competitor Goodman Packaging Equipment, based in Chicago, Illinois.
Michael A. Senske, president and chief executive officer of Pearson Packaging Systems will lead the entity, which will operate out of Spokane, Washington with engineering, service, and sales support staff in the greater Chicago area.
Senske joined Pearson Packaging Systems in May 1997, and became president and CEO of the company in January 2003. Senske said the acquisition expand[s] our ability to give customers a well rounded product offering for their secondary packaging operations.
Pearson Packaging Systems began in 1955 as a beverage maker.
Goodman Packaging Equipment offers machinery that is capable of top loading products horizontally or vertically into their final shipper.
